Disabling The AutoComplete Function
If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or later then you must follow and complete the instructions given in this chapter to disable the AutoComplete function and thus prevent your password and username from being disclosed to unauthorised users. This problem arises due to the AutoComplete function in V5.0 (or later) of Internet Explorer which allows details of all web pages visited, including password and usernames to be displayed. This is only an issue on the computer that is used to access the Electronic C.R.F., therefore if you are the only user of that computer then no action is necessary.
Disabling AutoComplete
STEP 1: To disable the AutoComplete function you must first start Internet Explorer and select the Tools Menu. From this menu list you must select the Internet Options item.

STEP 2: The Internet Options menu should now be displayed. You must select the Content tab from this menu.

STEP 3: At the bottom of the Content menu is the Personal Details section. Contained within this section is the AutoComplete option. Click this option to show the list of AutoComplete options.

STEP 4: Uncheck the option boxes named, Web addresses, Forms, and Usernames and passwords on forms. To complete the disablement of the AutoComplete function you must now select the OK option.
